Celebrate spring and the Easter season with the uplifting music of composer and jazz pianist Paul English and his fine ensemble of vocalists and instrumentalists. Music will include original works as well as jazz arrangements of familiar hymns for everyone to sing. A community picnic follows on the lawn of St. Philip's campus.

On February 18, 2018, at MATCH, the ROCO Brass Quintet – led by George Chase, trumpet – will present “The Wonderful English and Oz”, a program that includes the world premiere of "un petit ennui (oui, un wee ennui)”, a commission by Houston-based jazz composer, Paul English, as well as works by Farnaby, Sarcich, and Ewazen.

"I am thrilled to be writing more music for the River Oaks Chamber Orchestra, this time for their Brass Quintet with George Chase (trumpet), Jason Adams (trumpet, Gavin Reed (horn), Thomas Hulten (trombone) and Jared Lantzy (bass trombone). Please join us for a delightful concert!"
